DRIVER VALUE FORMULA
SALARY CAP $10,000,000.00
Generally driver values are assigned based
on a driver's position in the points at a certain point in time. For the start of the 2000
season they will be based on their finishing point position in 1999. On occasion a
driver may be valued different than their point standing. Our goal is to challenge each
team owner on each individual driver. We do not want to price a driver so low that
all team owners will pick them for their team. Nor do we want to price a driver so high
that a team owner can not justify the price. Please let us know what you think of the
values.
The driver values will change for race 4
based on finishing results for race 2. It is important to know when picking your drivers
for race 3, that the drivers you have on that team will have values assigned to them
based on finishing position from race 2, for race 4. A bad finishing position means a
lower value. A high finishing position means a value increase.

There will be 8 driver tiers. The tiers
are handicapped to assure a balanced field of drivers to select from. The 1st and last
place dollar values are posted for each tier.
TIER 1

43rd Place Finish - $60,000.
TIER 2

43rd Place Finish - $60,000.
TIER 3
