Top Fuel veteran Doug Herbert defeated "Hot Rod" Fuller in Wednesday's rain-delayed final of the 23rd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals to earn the final spot in the NHRA's Countdown to the Championship. Funny Car racer Tony Pedregon, Pro Stock ace Dave Connolly, and Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Matt Guidera also scored big wins in the last regular season race of the season, while Cinderella hopefuls Del Worsham, V. The Bush administration has approved a plan to expand domestic access to some of the most powerful tools of 21st-century spycraft, giving law enforcement officials and others the ability to view data obtained from satellite and aircraft sensors that can see through cloud cover and even penetrate buildings and underground bunkers.

Americans may need passports to board domestic flights or to picnic in a national park next year if they live in one of the states defying the federal Real ID Act.
The act, signed in 2005 as part of an emergency military spending and tsunami relief bill, aims to weave driver's licenses and state ID cards into a sort of national identification system by May 2008. The law sets baseline criteria for how driver's licenses will be issued and what information they must contain.
The Department of Homeland Security insists Real ID is an essential weapon in the war on terror, but privacy and civil liberties watchdogs are calling the initiative an overly intrusive measure that smacks of Big Brother.........

A major new scientific study concludes the impact of carbon dioxide emissions on worldwide temperatures is largely irrelevant.........
"Carbon dioxide is 0.000383 of our atmosphere by volume (0.038 percent)," said meteorologist Joseph D'Alea, the first director of meteorology at The Weather Channel and former chief of the American Meteorological Society's Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecast.
"Only 2.75 percent of atmospheric CO2 is anthropogenic in origin. The amount we emit is said to be up from 1 percent a decade ago. As a former editor in chief of daily newspapers, I have an exquisitely refined sense of propriety. I frequently served as a highly paid expert witness on newspaper standards and practices. My job often entailed cutting out biased copy from stories before they ever saw the light of day. btw... i have a friend in the FBI, he was an assistant ASAC [i think that's the right title] when i knew him, he's now back in D.C. ... if the FBI knows anything, it is only the top few, because i had many discussions with him about 911 and he offered many insights that only someone in his position would know and we also talked about all the conspiracy theories and not once did i get a hint he was holding anything back or not believing of the facts as they were presented to the public. he was quite up on homeland security and terrorist activity in the U.S., frequently testifying at trials for those few who were indicted in our area [mid west] he also investigated the oklahoma bombing/timothy mcvay case. so i value his view on things!

I think you have your facts wrong on NORAD's role in our air defenses. It is protocol to scrammble fighter jets for an air-craft straying from their designated flight path, and especially if hijacked airliners have already crashed in a major city.
In NORAD's 50 years history, command has always been held by top military men. In the days before 9/11, and while an active drill was scheduled for a simulation of an attack on the WTC and Pentagon by hijacked airliners, command of NORAD was assigned over, in a most unprecedented move, to Vice President Cheney.
The Secretary of Transportation testified before Congress that Cheney was informed of an incoming hijcked airliner from a point 50 minutes outside of Washington up to 10 minutes out. The informing officer asked if "the order still stood" to which Cheney responded "did you hear anything to the contrary?" This is in the Congressional record.
There is protocol to scrammble jets in any situation just like this, yet 14 F-16's sat idle at Langley Air Force base 10 minutes away. Washington has the most stringent airspace rules of anywhere in the world yet nothing was done.
Air traffic controllers struggled to determine if they were experiencing a drill or real-wrold scenario and the records of this day have long since been confiscated. My question is, if our government was running an "exercise" where hijacked planes were being used as weapons, why then did they act so astonished that this happened, and that nobody could ever conceive of such an outcome? FEMA was already in NYC on September 10th to prepare for this "drill."
I am convinced that this operation only could occur under the guise of an "exercise," otherwise protocol would have put an end to it. At some point the exercise went live with our defenses down.
Dick Cheney assumed command of our air defense system and then 9/11 happened. If this isn't the most extraordinary of circumstances then what does coincidence even mean?
This week our government is running simulation drills on America being attacked by terrorist nuclear weapons. All I can do is pray they don't have the nerve to take it any further than 9/11. |

Just a couple of points I would like to raise Axis.
Air defense was designed to protect America from planes flying INTO our airspace, not planes already in our airspace so whether or not they could have been intercepted is debatable considering they were flying under radar for much of the time. Also, after being asked to intercept it it took the military almost an hour to intercept that golfers plane that eventually crashed and it was on a known course and on radar the whole time.
If it was not the reported commercial planes that hit the WTC and the Pentagon then where are they?
If I was convinced this was an inside job here's a few questions I would be asking about 9-11.
1. Why could Air Force One (AF1) get incoming communications but not make out going communications with DC?
2. Why did DC tell AF1 not to bring Bush back to DC because of gunfire in the streets?
3. Who made that call giving a secret code about AF1?
4. Why did DC tell AF1 there was an unknown plane on an intercept course with it when there was no such plane?

Numerous high-level U.S. military leaders have publicly questioned 9/11. The following is just a small sample*:
Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Ronald Reagan said that the official story of 9/11 is "the dog that doesn't hunt" (if you suspect he is a closet liberal, take a look at his bio)
Director of the U.S. "Star Wars" space defense program in both Republican and Democratic administrations, who was a senior air force colonel who flew 101 combat missions, stated that 9/11 was an inside job (he also said "If our government had merely done nothing, and allowed normal procedures to happen on that morning of 9/11, the twin towers would still be standing, and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive. [T]hat is treason")
U.S. Army Air Defense Officer and NORAD Tac Director, decorated with the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the Soldiers Medal stated that "there is no way that an aircraft . . . would not be intercepted when they deviate from their flight plan, turn off their transponders, or stop communication with Air Traffic Control ... Attempts to obscure facts by calling them a 'conspiracy Theory' does not change the truth. It seems, 'Something is rotten in the State.'"
President of the U.S. Air Force Accident Investigation Board, who also served as Pentagon Weapons Requirement Officer and as a member of the Pentagon's Quadrennial Defense Review, and who was awarded Distinguished Flying Crosses for Heroism, four Air Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, and nine Aerial Achievement Medals, is a member of a group which doubts the government's version of 9/11
20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the second-ranking civilian in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer stated that "9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war", and it was probably an inside job (see Customer Review dated October 7, 2006).
U.S. General, Commanding General of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, decorated with the Bronze Star, Silver Star, and Purple Heart said "We've never finished the investigation of 9/11 and whether the administration actually misused the intelligence information it had. The evidence seems pretty clear to me. I've seen that for a long time."

Lieutenant colonel, 24-year Air Force career, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the Defense Language Institute said "Of course Bush knew about the impending attacks on America. He did nothing to warn the American people because he needed this war on terrorism."
Two-Star general questions the attack on the Pentagon
U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, former instructor at the USAF Fighter Weapons School and NATO’s Tactical Leadership Program, with a 20-year Air Force career said the following:
"I am 100% convinced that the attacks of September 11, 2001 were planned, organized, and committed by treasonous perpetrators that have infiltrated the highest levels of our government ....
Those of us in the military took an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Just because we have retired does not make that oath invalid, so it is not just our responsibility, it is our duty to expose the real perpetrators of 9/11 and bring them to justice, no matter how hard it is, how long it takes, or how much we have to suffer to do it.
We owe it to those who have gone before us who executed that same oath, and who are doing the same thing in Iraq and Afghanistan right now. Those of us who joined the military and faithfully executed orders that were given us had to trust our leaders. The violation and abuse of that trust is not only heinous, but ultimately the most accurate definition of treason!"
U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel, a fighter pilot with over 300 combat missions flown and a 21-year Marine Corps career, believes that 9/11 was an inside job, and said:
"This isn't about party, it isn't about Bush Bashing. It's about our country, our constitution, and our future. ...
Your countrymen have been murdered and the more you delve into it the more it looks as though they were murdered by our government, who used it as an excuse to murder other people thousands of miles away.
If you ridicule others who have sincere doubts and who know factual information that directly contradicts the official report and who want explanations from those who hold the keys to our government, and have motive, means, and opportunity to pull off a 9/11, but you are too lazy or fearful, or ... to check into the facts yourself, what does that make you? ....

Former army captain and intelligence officer said this:
"As a former Army officer, my tendency immediately after 911 was to rally 'round the colors and defend the country against what I then thought was an insidious, malicious all-Arab entity called Al-Qaida. In fact, in April of 2002, I attempted to reactivate my then-retired commission to return to serve my country in its time of peril...
Now I view the 911 event . . . as a matter that implies either
A) passive participation by the Bush White House through a deliberate stand-down of proper defense procedures that (if followed) would have led US air assets to a quick identification and confrontation of the passenger aircraft that impacted WTC 1 and WTC 2, or worse ...
B) active execution of a plot by rogue elements of government, starting with the White House itself, in creating a spectacle of destruction that would lead the United States into an invasion of the Middle East ..."

In addition to the numerous military leaders who question 9/11, hundreds of high-level government officials, such as senators and congressmen, the head of the FBI and other high-level intelligence officers, the presidents of allied governments, U.S. government scientists, terrorism experts, legal experts and even 9/11 Commissioners question 9/11. |

If we are to believe the emerging timeline of events, Cho Seung-Hui killed a woman and her RA in a dorm, went back to his dorm and captured a QuickTime video rant, burned a DVD, trekked to the post office with two 9mm weapons in tow, mailed the DVD, along with photos and miscellaneous writings to NBC, and then marched over to Norris Hall and killed another thirty or so people execution-style.
Add to this a bevy of “experts” on television this evening declaring Cho Seung-Hui to be obviously paranoid schizophrenic. Excuse me, but paranoid schizophrenics, minus medication, have a difficult time stitching two coherent sentences together, let alone methodically engaging in homicide, managing to escape undetected, and then recording thoughts after the fact and conjuring up the wherewithal to send out a press release.
I’m not buying it.
But what I can buy, or at least entertain, is the possibility Cho Seung-Hui is, for lack of a better term, a Manchurian Candidate. Do a Google search on Project Bluebird, the very real CIA experiments in brainwashing and multiple personality engineering.
“BLUEBIRD was approved by the CIA director on April 20, 1950. In August 1951, the Project was renamed ARTICHOKE. BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE included a great deal of work on the creation of amnesia, hypnotic couriers, and the Manchurian Candidate,” writes Colin A. Ross, MD. “ARTICHOKE documents prove that hypnotic couriers functioned effectively in real-life simulations conducted by the CIA in the early 1950’s. The degree to which such individuals were used in actual operations is still classified…. BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE were administered in a compartmented fashion. The details of the programs were kept secret even form other personnel within the CIA…. The BLUEBIRD/ARTICHOKE materials establish conclusively that full Manchurian Candidates were created and tested successfully by physicians with TOP SECRET clearance from the CIA…. As well as being potential couriers and infiltration agents, the subjects could function in effect as hypnotically controlled cameras. They could enter a room or building, memorize materials quickly, leave the building, and then be amnesic for the entire episode. The memorized material could then be retrieved by a handler using a previously implanted code or signal, without the amnesia being disturbed. Hypnosis was not the mind control doctors’ only method for creation of controlled amnesia, however. Drugs, magnetic fields, sound waves, sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, and many other methods were studied under BLUEBIRD and ARTHICHOKE.”
Before you write me off as another tinfoil hat nut case, consider this document, released from the CIA under an FOIA request. In part, the document states:
“Miss [redacted] was instructed (having expressed a fear of firearms) that she would use every method at her disposal to awaken Miss [redacted] (now in a deep hypnotic sleep). Failing this, she would pick up a pistol and fire it at Miss [redacted]. She was instructed that she would not hesitate to “kill” [redacted]. Miss [redacted] carried out these suggestions including firing the (unloaded) gun at [redacted] and then proceeded to fall into a deep sleep. After proper suggestions were made, both were awakened. Miss [redacted] expressed absolute denial that the foregoing sequence had happened.”
Of course, the existence of Project Bluebird and the search for Manchurian Candidate is hardly conclusive evidence Cho Seung-Hui was a programmed murder zombie. On the other hand, the picture painted by the corporate media, that Cho Seung-Hui was simply a mentally deranged and violent loner who stalked women and wrote disjointed plays does not make sense, especially considering his reported proficiency with handguns and the series of methodical tasks he accomplished soon after gunning down two people in cold blood.
Either way, the largest massacre in American history, carried out on the campus of a prestigious engineering school, will certainly jack up the fear ratio—to say nothing of launch yet another salvo at the Bill of Rights, two things certain to please our control freak rulers.

There are dozens of eye-witnesses that insist that the second plane to hit the WTC was a window-less grey plane with blue markings. It very well may have been a military plane. If this is the case then where did the people go who were supposed to have been killed?
Take a look at the footage on the web frame-by-frame of the plane supposedly hitting the Pentagon. That is no plane. That is a missile. A plane would have left a much bigger hole and tons of debris. The authorities picked up the debris from this crime scene immediately. Where did the people go who were supposedly killed on that plane? This is disturbing! What if it was you?

The Virginia ratifying convention met from June 2 through June 26, 1788. Edmund Pendleton, opponent of a bill of rights, weakly argued that abuse of power could be remedied by recalling the delegated powers in a convention. Officially, you don't hear a word about it. Inside your own brain, however, it sits there like a lump of burning coal, because you already know the answer, even though it is extremely likely that in certain circumstances you pretend you don't.
Something is wrong with what we are hearing from our politicians, our media, our preachers and our teachers. All of them have tailored their monologues by deliberately and consistently ignoring certain subjects, and by promoting dubious others.
Here sits the cognitive dissonance that paralyzes every single person in the world. Do I advocate for what is right even though I know in this world, the way it's set up, I will be sorely penalized for it? Or do I take the payoff to keep quiet about things that don't hinder me directly but sure have a negative effect on others mostly in faraway places? We know from the perpetual injustice that most people choose the latter.
Happy Americans have always averted their gaze from the nasty things that were done in their name because the high standard of living enabled them to wall themselves into their own existences without much examining the foundational facts of their prosperity. It is a supreme metaphorical irony that the supposedly greatest nation ever seen on this planet wiped out the existing population with the diseases it brought, and has continued this fatal plague of expedient capitalism throughout the world down to this very day.
But let’s get to the point that matters.
The dividing line between them and us is this.
If you understand that the official 9/11 story is a hoax, you're one of us — compassionate, respectful and honest humans who only wish to live in truthful peace. If you still insist the United States of America is an honest country and that 9/11 was done by nefarious Arab terrorists whom somehow we could never quite capture (or even accurately identify), then you're one of them — a perverted predator patrician wannabe who is willing to kill for money and lie about it. It's that simple.
When we allow arguably the most heinous mass murderers in human history to continue their gory practices unresisted, we know for sure that we as a nation are spiritually dead. And we should realize that in the eyes of the rest of the world, we are the new Nazi terror mongers deserving of the end of a rope just like they got.
Thus here, sitting squarely before us, looms the battlement of the new revolution. Those who question vs. those who cover up. As a line of demarcation, it is simple and clear. Those who insist Arab hijackers knocked down the Twin Towers are doing the work of Planet Earth's slaveowners. Passionate evangelicals are absolutely right when they call it the Synagogue of Satan. One need only look at its nefarious and coercive influences on society to realize the direct link between this philosophy and the destruction of our planet.
Take your seat and place your bet (something all humans are obliged to do). Which will prevail? The predator society of which you are an ever-diminishing part if you can steer clear of an occasional government-sponsored shoot-em-up at your local school? Or the human spirit, forthright, sincere and honest (think of the way you would talk to your mother), which always, as a matter of fact, expects love and respect to prevail.
It is reasonable to expect that in the very near future humanity will face a challenge unique in all our history, where we must present a collective face to the universe to prove that we are reasonable beings. The picture from this perspective today does not indicate the triumph of reason. Rather, the collective personality of the human species is twisted into grotesque fetishes. People worship death around their necks without analyzing their pagan traditions of cannibalism and child sacrifice. We're just now learning this format guaranteed endless wars, in fact, they are a template for endless wars. So now we know a certain group has pulled the strings for hundreds if not thousands of years to get us lemmings properly oriented for the bad jobs they make for us. Like making weapons.
We can have a decent society. The cancer that controls the world's money is the chief obstacle to peace in the world. The world is too important to be left to the bankers. If the marketplace were somehow honest (though perhaps it can never be), if education were proactive and aimed at exploration rather than exploitation, if people simply kept their words ... is this a world that cannot be?
And yet, this is the bet.
The fact that this has never in human history been done is no reason not to continue to aim for it. The main thing humans have never realized in their shortsighted fear and lack of faith is that the gift returns to the giver, which is how we've gotten this far. This information is being erased by modern fragmentation culture.
In this gap between spin and substance, the future of human existence hangs in the balance.
You can't find a single American national politician who is willing to discuss 9/11. They all cringe in the shadow of knowing 9/11 was most definitely an inside job, a blood sacrifice to the financial power of Israel that temporarily rescued the American economy. In the same way that the destruction of the USS Liberty in 1967 showed the Israelis that Lyndon Johnson was in their pocket, the demolition of the World Trade Center was not only a blatant Jewish robbery of $7 billion in fast insurance money, but also carte blanche for the United States to shoot up all of Israel's enemies (which is everyone) throughout the Middle East in an ad infinitum endless war! These people all need to be jail, needless to say.
I bet you haven't heard that line on television lately. The minds of the masses are totally controlled. The media that controls the masses is virtually 100 percent Jewish owned, and HAS BEEN THROUGHOUT THE 20TH CENTURY!
Is it too late? You tell me.

The Virginia Tech killer is becoming even more suspect. His brother works for the State Department and his sister works for an independent contractor responsible for the disbursement of billions of dollars in the rebuilding of Iraq. His father made millions in Saudi Arabia. The kid was full of the drugs used in the studies being done on mind control, was molested as a child, was fascinated with shoot-em-up video games and fits the profile of every mind-control program study. Are these facts truly coincidence?
You have to ask these questions and wonder whether cultural mind control is being practiced? Why the huge police presence at Virginia Tech prior to this massacre? Why is the CIA there? Why is Nasa there? The same goes for Columbine, with the CIA not allowing entry teams in for hours. Are these black-op operations? I'm not at all surprised by the governments drug running.
What I find interesting about the folks who claim there is a coverup over what happened on 9-11 is where were/are these folks when it comes to the coverup of TWA flight 800 and the OKC bombing? Are they really interested in the truth or is it simply that they hate Bush? The evidence of a coverup in the OKC bombing and TWA 800 is overwhelming but they won't touch it.

Two state narcotics agents who claimed they had been improperly transferred after complaining that the feds had allowed a CIA-backed drug dealer slip away have finally cleared their names.
In a big way.
A civil has awarded the agents, John R. "Sparky" Mc-Laughlin and Charles Micewski - both former Philly cops - a total of $1.5 million in damages.
The verdict, by a U.S. District Court jury in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, was based on claims filed against Pennsylvania Attorney General Mike Fisher and other state officials.
The agents, who were assigned to the state narcotics bureau's Philadelphia office, claimed the forced transfers - far from Phialdelphia - came after they complained that federal and state authorities had allowed a political candidate from the Dominican Republic, one the CIA was backing, to leave the United States in 1995 with about $500,000 in alleged drug profits disguised as political contributions.
After they complained of the CIA connection, federal and city authorities stopped prosecuting the agents' drug cases, and began investigating the agents for alleged misconduct......

Well until you watch this particular documentary you don't have the full story. It was made by a demolition hobbyist who was angry at the accusations and was determined to prove the conspiracy theorists wrong. He spent weeks researching everything he could find on the subject and every expert he could find. He then used his conclusions to make this movie. I've watched it three times.

She was ordered not to speak of the incident for national security reasons.

I don't have high speed internet but I'm very familar with the arguements and "evidence" that 9-11 was an inside job. If I believed it was an inside job I wouldn't necessarily be thinking it comes from the top. I'd be looking a little lower down the totem pole, maybe down to Richard Armitrage. What better way to gain control of the Afghan poppy fields then having your country invade it.

We video taped this second interview and I turned copies over in June 1987, to the Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence; Chairman of the House on Foreign Affairs Task Force on Narcotics Control; Co-Chairman, Senate Narcotics Committee; Senator Harry Reid, NV; Representative James Bilbray, NV; and other Congressional members. Mister Richard Armitage, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, is one of those USG officials implicated by Khun Sa.
Nothing was done with this evidence that indicated that anyone of authority, including yourself, had intended to do anything more than protect Mr. Armitage. I was charged with "Misuse of Passport". Seems that it is alright for Oliver North and Robert MacFarlane to go into Iran on Irish Passports to negotiate an illegal arms deal that neither you nor anyone else admits condoning, but I can't use a passport that brings back drug information against your friends.
Lance Trimmer and I submitted a "Citizen Complaint of Wrongdoing by Federal Officers" to Attorney General Edwin Meese, III on 17 September 1987. Continuous private and Legislative inquiries to date indicate that the Attorney General's Office has "lost" the document. Congressional requests to the Government Accounting Office have resulted in additional government snares and stalls.
January 20, 1988, I talked before your Breakfast Club in Houston, Texas. A distinguished group of approximately 125 associates of yours, including the Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court, expressed assurance that you are a righteous man. Almost all of them raised their hand when I asked how many of them know you personally. If you are a man with good intent, I pray you will do more than respond to this letter. I ask that you seriously look into the possibility that political appointees close to you are guilty of by passing our Constitutional process, and for purposes of promoting illegal covert operations, conspired in the trafficking of narcotics and arms.
Please answer why a respected American Citizen like Mister H. Ross Perot can bring you a pile of evidence of wrongdoing by Armitage and others, and you, according to TIME magazine (May 4, page 18), not only offer him no support, but have your Secretary of Defense, Frank Carlucci tell Mr. Perot to "stop pursuing Mr. Armitage". Why Sir, will you not look into affidavits gathered by The Christic Institute (Washington, D.C.), which testify that Armitage not only trafficked in heroin, but did so under the guise of an officer charged with bringing home our POWs. If the charges are true, Armitage, who is still responsible for POW recovery as your Assistant Secretary of Defense ISA, has every reason not to want these heros returned to us alive. Clearly, follow on investigations would illuminate the collective crimes of Armitage and others.
Several years ago a secretary working for Armitage asked me "Why would he have us expunge his official record of all reference to past POW/MIA assignments and activities?" Not knowing, I ventured a guess that maybe he was considering running for public office and didn't feel the POW -Vietnam association would be a plus in his resume. It was about the same time a CIA agent [Jerry Daniels - ed.] named by Khun Sa turned up dead in Bangkok under "mysterious circumstances" Also about this time, as an agent of NSC's Intelligence Support Activity, I was told by ISA Chief Jerry King, "...there are still too many bureaucrats in Washington who don't want to see POWs returned alive". I failed to realize the fullness of his meaning, or these other events, until in May 1987, Gen Khun Sa, in his jungle headquarters, named Richard Armitage as a key connection in a ring of heroin trafficking mobsters and USG officials.
A U.S. agent I have known for many years stopped by my home last month enroute to his next overseas assignment. He remarked that he had worked for those CIA chiefs named by Khun Sa, and that by his own personal knowledge, he knew what Khun Sa said was true. He was surprised it had taken so long to surface. I am a registered Republican. I voted for you twice. I will not do so again. If you have any love or loyalty in your heart for this nation; if you have not completely sold out, then do something positive to determine the truth of these most serious allegations. You were Director of the CIA in 1975, during a time Khun Sa says Armitage and CIA officials were trafficking in heroin. As Director of Intelligence you were responsible to the American people for the activities of your assistant - even as you should know what some of these same people are doing who are close to you now as our Vice President because I feel these "parallel government" types will only be promoted by you, giving them more reason to bury our POWs.
I am enclosing some documentation that supports the charges made. Chief is a letter from Khun Sa to the U.S. Justice Department dated 28 June 1987, wherein Richard Armitage is named along with Theodore Shackley (your former Deputy Director CIA from Covert Operations) and others. Please also note William Stevenson's article, "Bank of Intrigue-Circles of Power". You, Armitage, and General Richard Secord are prominently mentioned. Stevenson, you might remember, authored A MAN CALLED INTREPID. Also Tom Fitzpatrick's article, "From Burma to Bush, a Heroin Highway", should interest you. Both of these men are prize winning journalists. The book, CRIMES of PATRIOTS, "A True Tale of Dope, Dirty Money, and the CIA", by Jonathan Kwitny, reporter for the Wall Street Journal, details for you the bank connections that Khun Sa mentions. Finally, the basic primer that spells out exactly how this dope for covert operations gambit began, is Alfred McCoy's THE POLITICS OF HEROIN IN SOUTHEAST ASIA. All of these should be required reading for the man appointed chief cop by our President to safeguard America from illegal narcotics. These are just a sampling of many works now available that chronical disgraceful conduct by those sworn to protect and defend our Constitution.
Parting shot Mr. Vice President: On 28 January 1988, General Khun Sa tendered an offer to turn over to me one metric ton (2,200 pounds) of heroin. He says this is a good faith gesture to the American people that he is serious about stopping all drugs coming from the infamous Golden Triangle. I, you and Nancy Reagan are really serious about saying "NO" to drugs, why not test Gen Khun Sa? I challenge you to allow me in the company of agents of your choice to arrange to receive this token offer worth over $4 billion on the streets of New York City. It will represent the largest "legal" seizure of heroin on record. You can personally torch it, dump it in the ocean, or turn it into legal medication; as I understand there is a great shortage of legal opiates available to our doctors. I think Gen Khun Sa's offer is most interesting.
If you say "YES" then the ever increasing flow of heroin from Southeast Asia (600-- tons-- '86, 900 tons-- '87, 1200-- tons'88) may dry up--not good for business in the parallel government and super CIA circles Oliver North mentioned. If you say "NO" to Khun Sa, you are showing colors not fit for a man who would be President.
What is your decision? I challenge you to demonstrate exactly where you stand with respect to big-business-drugs, parallel government, misuse of U.S. tax-payer dollars in foreign drug supression programs that don't work, no interest in dialogue that will stem the flow of illegal narcotics, return of POWs while they are still alive? I for one am not for a "USA, Inc." with you or anyone else as Chairman of the Board.

I'm open to the possibilty that 9-11 was an inside-job but so far I've seen nothing that convinces me that's the case. One of the problems is while there are experts who say such and such could not happen there are other experts who say such and such could happen so who can you believe?
btw, I used to be part of the patriot community in the 1990's so I have more then a passing familiarity with conspiracy theories which also leads me to question many of the conspiracy theories about 9-11. In fact, during my days on the Prodigy message boards the left-wingers considered me a conspiracy theorist. I hope they remember that because a lot of what I said turned out to be true.

I am looking at the pictures of the Madrid fire and don't see the structural collape you are talking about.
Much of the jet fuel was consumed in the impact. Fuel flowing down the elevator shafts may have happened, but how does it explain the destruction in the basements that was witnessed by longtime maintance employees? The sub-levels were destroyed. Jet fuel would not do that.
I think to open yourself to the possibilty of the inside-job theory would destroy everything one holds to be true about our country. Perhaps much of the theory can be explained by other incredible circumstances that are equally as unlikely, but much of what the debunkers say is that this or that cannot be proven or that there is a lack of evidence, as opposed to proving their own theory which is highly suspect and is considered so by a growing number of experts in the fields pertaining to the physics and nature of this incident.
It is bone-chilling to think the conspiracy theory could be true. |

The building in Spain did not have an airplane crash into it and all the steel columns above a certain level did collapse.
When the planes crashed into the building a lot of the jet fuel went down the elevator shafts which is why when the fire dept. first arrived they found people who had been on the street level burned badly. This could be responsible for some of the explosions people say the saw or heard on the lower levels.
Breaking metal might also cause some of those squibs and sound like an explosion.
I've seen much footage that goes along with what you think happened but I see reasonable explanations to explain it. I've also read stuff much more extreme then what you'll find on most internet sites or see in films but I'm not buying it.
After the 2000 election I was telling people the left would not give up power gracefully and I had a strong feeling something bad was going to happen in our country. I think there is more to 9-11 then Islamic terrorism but I don't think it comes from within our current administration. Bush is part of the Americanized version of the New World Order crowd and I think 9-11 comes from the internationalist side of the New World Order crowd of which Clinton and Gore are part of. That's my theory.

Quite a coincidence that the squibs , or just random puffs of dust from air pressure, occur at the skylobbies where the extra reinforcement is.
If the floors fell on top of each other and a chain reaction started, then what happened to the core of the building?
The building in Spain remained standing, even supporting a crane on top, after buring for hours and hours. The WTC smoldered for 90 minutes.
Why is it that WTC 7 collapsed like a perfectly executed demolition, the 3rd building of the day to collapse in such a fashion and only the third building in history to do so, all on that day? When buildings fall off of their foundation they don't collapse neatly into their basements. There is framework and stucture left behind. When a pancake collapse occurs there are whole floors left stacked on each other. These buildings were reduced to rubble in their own footprint, the very definition of controlled demolition.
How do you explain the eye-witness accounts of explosions in the basements, destroyed parking levels and workshops, burned and maimed survivors from street level and below? |

The squibs you mention could have been caused by the air pressure from the floors above collapsing. Dropping all that mass has to push the air out somewhere and you saw the result of that displacement with the dust cloud that spread out laterally from the building after the collapse
The force of the all that mass falling on each floor caused each floor to collapse. The same thing happened in the 1970's with a building being constructed on the East Coast when the upper most floor fell on the next floor and it kept going straight down until it reached the ground.
I made that comment about the building collapsing if they didn't get the fire out because I know what happens to metal when you heat it.
Structual steel is coated with a heat and flame retardant because steel expands when heated. It does not have to melt to fail and there was plenty of light weight metal in that building, file cabinets, airplane parts, etc., that could be the melted metal that some conspiracy theorists mention.
The steel frame upper floors of the Spanish building did collapse.
WTC7 was heavily damaged by the collpase of the two towers and one of those websites I posted has the pictures to prove it. Also, the owner of that building as been misquoted. When he said "pull it" that was during a converstion with the fire department who was telling him the firefighters were at risk because the building might collpase and when he said "pull it" he was refering to the fire fighting effort.
btw, I'm not one who doesn't think people within the government are not capable of doing something like this, who automatically dismisses conspiracy theories or doesn't think conspiracies exist. So far I'm just not seeing it in this case but I'm certainly seeing it in some other cases but those happened under a democratic president so they don't get much exposure and when they do they are dismissed as wild conspiracy theories.

-I'm not sure explosives work that way. The fire was relatively contained anyway and wouldn't affect ground-based explosives or those away from the fire.-

-Steel warms to the temperature applied to it. It only begins weakening significantly at temperatures much higher than any "dirty" fire can produce, and at much higher temperature that the WTC fire. People were standing in the broken windows of the WTC with the fire at their backs, and were not being burned up. Steel only melts at blast furnance temperatures which are only attainable in a controlled environment or with chemicals used for such temperature extremes, yet molten metal was found throughout the WTC site.-
Now what about the squibs which were seen much lower than the happening collapse? Squibs are the tell-tale sign of demolition explosions. These squibs were conveniently seen shooting out of the strongest floors of the towers well in advance of the advancing collapse, a collapse that defies physics. The buildings fell at the rate an object would freefall from the same height. Do you mean to tell me that the collapse faced no resistance from the floors below? I find that highly unlikely without assistance. |

I wonder why WTC building 7 was demolished using explosives when there was little damage to the structure? Why wasn't it being used as designed, as a command center for emergencies such as this? In it must have been evidence, as well as the insurance value. Lost in the demolition was also all of the records of corporate fraud, including everything pertaining to the $70 billion Enron heist.
There is little doubt that this building was imploded, yet even when reported as such during that fateful day, and workers on film advising people to leave because the building would be comming down, officials still refuse to admit anything but fire brought down the massive steel structure from the bottom up, and in a classic demolition manner. There was no evidence of fire on the bottom floors.
Something doesn't sit right with me here. So many people in high places had so much to gain and plenty to lose if 9/11 didn't happen as it did. |

Axis, I did not blindly accept the offical explanation for what happened on 9-11 and have done some research on the subject but like I said before I'm not convinced the offical explanation is false.
....."The towers were designed and built in the mid-1960s through the early 1970s. They represented a new approach to skyscrapers in that they were to be very lightweight and involved modular construction methods in order to accelerate the schedule and to reduce the costs.........
The egg-crate construction made a redundant structure (i.e., if one or two columns were lost, the loads would shift into adjacent columns and the building would remain standing). Prior to the World Trade Center with its lightweight perimeter tube design, most tall buildings contained huge columns on 5 m centers and contained massive amounts of masonry carrying some of the structural load. The WTC was primarily a lightweight steel structure; however, its 244 perimeter columns made it “one of the most redundant and one of the most resilient” skyscrapers.1............
Even with its strength halved, the steel could still support two to three times the stresses imposed by a 650°C fire.
The additional problem was distortion of the steel in the fire. The temperature of the fire was not uniform everywhere, and the temperature on the outside of the box columns was clearly lower than on the side facing the fire. The temperature along the 18 m long joists was certainly not uniform. Given the thermal expansion of steel, a 150°C temperature difference from one location to another will produce yield-level residual stresses. This produced distortions in the slender structural steel, which resulted in buckling failures. Thus, the failure of the steel was due to two factors: loss of strength due to the temperature of the fire, and loss of structural integrity due to distortion of the steel from the non-uniform temperatures in the fire.........
It has been suggested that it was fortunate that the WTC did not tip over onto other buildings surrounding the area. There are several points that should be made. First, the building is not solid; it is 95 percent air and, hence, can implode onto itself. Second, there is no lateral load, even the impact of a speeding aircraft, which is sufficient to move the center of gravity one hundred feet to the side such that it is not within the base footprint of the structure. Third, given the near free-fall collapse, there was insufficient time for portions to attain significant lateral velocity. To summarize all of these points, a 500,000 t structure has too much inertia to fall in any direction other than nearly straight down."..........

The Madrid Windsor Building is situated in the heart of the Spanish capital's financial district and was a distinct and familiar landmark on the city's skyline. Built between 1974 and 1978 by architects Alas Casariego, its occupants included high profile corporate clients including accountants Deloitte and Spanish legal firm Garrigues.
The building totalled 32 storeys, with 29 floors above ground and three below. A concrete core and concrete frame supported the first 16 floors. Above that was a central support system of concrete columns, supporting concrete floors with steel perimeter columns. An additional feature was the presence of two 'technical floors' - concrete floors designed to give the building more strength. One was just above the ground level and the other at the 17th floor.........
Because of the height of the structure and the extent of the blaze, firefighters could only mount a containment operation and ensure that neighbouring buildings were protected. The fire eventually finished 26 hours later, leaving a complete burn-out above the fifth floor. The steel-glass façade was completely destroyed, exposing the concrete perimeter columns. The steel columns above the 17th floor suffered complete collapse, partially coming to rest on the upper technical floor.....
The fire is significant in terms of its potential similarities between the collapse of the building's steel frame above the 17th floor and the experience seen at the World Trade Center. Notably, one of the recommendations of NIST's interim report on the World Trade Center disaster is for tall building design to incorporate 'strong points' within the frame.

Well if you haven't seen anything yet that makes you think the government was behind 9/11 then watch this documentary. All of the evidence that has been supressed comes out, from demolition explosions on the seismic records, to expert testimony, to connections so obvious they have been overlooked.
There is absolute proof that the world trade center was demolished with explosives. It is a classic controlled demolition and those behind it had everything to gain. Watch this documentary and tell me I am wrong. I am almost afraid to start researching this further using my own computer. |

I have not seen that documentary but I can imagine what's in it. I have yet to see or read anything that convinces me the government was responsible for staging the 9-11 attacks.
One "mystery" of 9-11 I have seen mentioned many times is the failure of the military to intercept the hijacked planes but if we look back before 9-11 to the golfer who died in the plane crash we find nothing unusual in that regard. In the golfer case even though the plane was on radar and flying a straight line it took the military over 50 minutes to intercept it after they were requested to do so. |
