didn't know what bump was talkin bout either cause I know that was a pay team Ken bought ya for winnin the spring championship
but it looks like you weren't accepted in to the pitbox yet...just checked and it still says awaiting acceptance....hmmmmmmmmmmm

That team was in both pitboxes for the first 2 races, for reasons beyond my knowledge it was booted out of both pitboxes prior to this race. It was in the pitboxes prior to the start of this race because that is when I noticed it was no longer in those boxes and why I put them back into those boxes, as well as the jr rocks pitbox(I put it in that pitbox the morning of the race and that is when I realised it wasn't in the other 2). If this is problem, (and seeing how it's score is what took y'all out of contention), feel free to refigure the scores.quote:

I know its your team & I know it should be in there
& its perfectly fine with me if it is counted
if there is a rule against it tho...it was the pitbox owner who fumbled
I never did get around to reading all the rules they posted on that 1 thread...been to busy with the pc racin stuff
good score tho....mine was terrible

| All I can tell ya is that when I tallied up the scores after the race yesterday............PCR Champ Team didn't show up on my computer screen!! It wasn't "waiting acceptance", it just "wasn't there"!! So, even though I ain't real good with numbers.......It looked like we won. I tallied up the scores with the teams that showed up on my screen and by my math we had more points. Since this ain't golf.....I thought we won!! If you believe that the PCR Champ team should be counted....do so with my blessings. Really not worth arguing over. Hopfully my last post on this!! What everyone decides is okie dokie with me!! Keep the shiny side up and let the rough side drag!!!! Just want a fair shake!! |

The 'rules' I listed were only guidelines. None of us ever really got together to discuss them, like we did in the first half. So until that happens (most likely won't..too late), I think remmey's score (PCR Champ) should be used since his team was in for the first two races and then 'mysteriously' gets booted.

| ha ha This is a good one. The ones that make the rules now want to break the rules. 1st their rules now guidelines??? Well all I can tell you is on my computer last nite yet it still said waiting acceptence. According to the rule or now guideline that would be a no no. Reminds me of an ol Ren and Stimpy episode!!! |

If it wasn't there at all ... it shouldn't be counted.
If we are not gonna keep this Honorable we shouldn't even have these competitions.

...Paul & Val were outta town, they e-mailed me earlier in the week asking me to do our scores
I had to work 12 hrs. sun. by the time I got off work, picked up the kids from the babysitters (wife was working too)stopped at a resturaunt to eat....finally got home & put the kids to bed...then sat down to do the scores it was really late & I didn't even bother looking in the BFG pitbox to figure if we won or not.

I thought I was doing everyone a favor by trying to get some order to this pitbox crap...if you go back and read the original thread you'll notice that it was only my opinion and only a few spoke up to agree with them...but when I posted rule 2a, the sheet hit the fan

This is a Bunch of BS.
If this happened the other way around....The BFG would be CRYING even louder than The Thunder Regulars....If not for the plain fact that there are many more BFG that use this message board.
I really don't care either way how this is ruled...whenever this BFG/Thunder Regular battle was started there should have been some rules laid down...I wasn't here then so I don't know if they were or what exactly they are.
As for the BS about the goose egg...well we started out the 1st half 0 for 3 & still managed to tie & win the tiebreaker.
This kinda BS takes all the fun out...I don't see how either side could be happy whether they win or lose this week after this mess.
Some one should call & find out if Dave can see by whom & when the team was taken out & put back in....he might know...he could tell ya when your trades were made....maybe he could tell us this info.
Or better yet....maybe we should just call Brian France & let him make the call on this...LOL

Thelma and I checked all pit boxes before the race Sunday, that is the reason Thelma posted the above thread, because there were some in regional Pit Boxes that needed acceptance...There were none in The BFG that were not accepted and yes that included PC champion. Something happened to PC Champion accross the board. Early Sunday morning Thunder went down for some unknown reason, that glitch could have caused the problem with PC Champion. He's been in all his pitboxes from the start of the Fall season. I got some place special for your rules..................Some people can use rules to futher their cause, when they don't remember the intent of the rule....

Maybe I missed it or just forgot but I don't remember anyone deciding before the Spring series started that a tiebreaker would be based on the Boink average instead of the enitre pitbox average, which is the true indicator of the superior pitbox, but I still sent you Regs prizes.
Since PC Champ was a member of the BFG pitbox before the start of Indy and somehow got deleted by technical glitch or error I think it is only fair to allow his score and if the shoe was on the other foot I would be saying the same thing.

Cowboy, in order to be in the BFG pitbox you have to either be one of the folks who lost their posting privilages at FC in late October last year, one of the folks who gave us a voice on the FC message board during our exile, one of the folks who voiced dissent on the message board over the banishment of the BFG or a spouse or blood relative of one of the above.
In order to be a Thunder Regular you are supposed to be, in my way of thinking, one of those folks who was playing at Thunder before the BFG arrived. |
