I am aware that some new players are not able to log on to the forums. Currently, I have to manually add new players as they come in, after Dave activates them. This will change, I am working on making it automatic.
In the meantime, I will be checking for new signups regularly, and hopefully you won't have to wait more than an hour or two, except when I am asleep.

Wow. I hadn't considered that. That would be a problem.
I'll make a post to ask all of you what you think about solving this problem by allowing you to make forum accounts that aren't attached to Fantasy Thunder accounts. I could also do this with the chatroom. Check the board in about 10 minutes for a post titled "Proposed changes to chat/forums", and respond to me there.

Rob, I am a new member to FT from Stanton, MI; are there any rules about joining a pit box? When you play the main game, do you have tp pay extra for the one race games?

TO HOPE RIDES: There are no rules to joining pit, they are for fun and bragging rights, (well if your a male, you may consider Johnson's, female : Bevers: lol, or the Beavers!, Or pick one geographically, Aka So Cal, Mid west , Right(east) coast, or Thunder regular's, Driver pits, just click join, if accepted good Luck, if not(usually never accurs) heck with them, you may prove to be a mistake for those who did'nt pick you up!
All for fun, And yes Challenge and 2nd half are 2 different things,on the main screen there is a site map, I go in that way, then there is a pull down thingy,(it has 2 choices) aka :
your team Choice 1: Change Team name or the other choice 2: has your (2) if you were in (free trial)(main game). Upper right corner will have a pull down, Main Contest and all the other extra games.AKA:Pepsi Challenge etc..... Plus read the board each week We have a game inside the game called" P.O.F., plain ole fun, Tuner is founder and president of that game, just pick 8 worse finishers each week, allot of cool prizes and bragging rights there also, so welcome aboard! Peace ....LOL This may have helped or confused you more, but my intensions were to have helped and to welcome you, to the best race place on the planet........Peace Chuck Team Heavy Chevy

Hopes Ride, Heavy Chevy is right, but since you asked me personally, I will give an answer as well. It will, however, be slightly smaller and much, much less colorful.
Joining Pit Boxes works as follows: you view the detail page of a Pit Box, then select a team you would like to enter at the bottom of the page, and click "Join Pitbox". Then, the owner of the pitbox will need to accept you for you to officially be a member.
For your second question, yes, you do have to pay to play in the One-Race Series events as well, even if you paid for the Main Game. The one exception is if you take advantage of one of the special offers that include a free One-Race team along with some form of Main Game purchase. The One-Race events are separate from the Main Game, cost less, and have their own prize fund that grows based upon how many teams are purchased.
