Slip! What did you have to do to your router to host?Boo got it online but we get error 10054 .....ah...what's that and what do we need to do to router?
hutch, you may have to call the dreaded tech support. i have to take my firewall down to host. so far no problems doing that...let me know if yawl want me to host later
HEY PCer's..I don't no about this latency stuff.. but seems mine is always high.. I went to dish network tv several years ago because our CHARTER cable just plain sucks.. When you live in a small out of the way area there are great benefits... but in the tech field we are always years behind..hell, I still can't get caller ID... when I started this pc racing I had their SILVER program.. next to highest in our area... after I could not get on when BOINK was hosting last week I called and got their gold.. highest possible in our area... I now see that I still have high latency.. and my mail server is down ...again.. once or twice a month...some kind of problem every week.. called charter and was going to rag on them.. the girl started crying.. and I hadn't even got started yet... so hung up .. no answers..
SO.. I may jump in on a practice once in awhile ..but no more races..I have enjoyed the hell out of it.. but just not computer knowledgeable or patient enough to deal with all the problems.. espeacially when I am bringing them...
AND I THANK ALL FOR THEIR HELP ..HAD TO BEEN LIKE TEACHING A DOG TO FLY...LOL

Right-click on "Network Neighborhood" Select "Properties" Right-click "Local Area Connection" Select "Properties" Left-click the "Advanced" tab at the top Uncheck the "Internet Connection Firewall" check box...
