Well Michelle sat home this afternoon and got rid of all the problems except 2. She went to ad ware and also used bazooka spy bot and housecall. Now the only problems are, you still have to turn off the norton firewall to get on the net and lets say you are opening up a word document it will say the administrator is already using it would you like to copy it. Norton did run c drive now but finds problems but will not fix. Ok you computer pros lets have the answers. Cool yamaha sticker come on Mr. Richard get real.

DDDC, Is this a NEW install of Norton? If so did you uninstall the previous version?

DDDDC, like I said in my note in your other topic, I had to uninstall the Norton firewall on my new Compaq Presario. If your ISP is Juno they have a firewall you can setup that works fine.

I have an idea....now I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass, but has anyone thought about calling the Norton tech support group? I know guys don't ask for directions, but this really isn't the same as asking for driving directions...just a smart thing to do when your having problems with somebody elses software.

I don't read instruction books so I wouldn't have any idea who or where to call for help.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.

I solved my firewall problem by activating the firewall my ISP offers.

To Martin or not to Martin, that is the question. I have him on all three teams and was thinking I need to get these Rousch-Yates engines off my teams. After looking at Marks record at Michigan though I have to give this some more thought. In 24 starts at Michigan Mark has finished outside the top 10 only 5 times, and three of those times he was still in the top 17. That's an impressive record.

Happy Hour(or hours) should shed some light on the problem. It seems to me that the #6 tells a lot during the final practices.

I did stop and ask for directions once, back in Sept. 1985. 1am in the morning somewhere in Oakland. Never again.
