Brand "X" has a server problem. If you try to get in to thier web site all you get is a page cannot be displayed message. I thought I had a new worm virus that was attacking cookies and starting out with one web site and then going to move to the rest..or something like that. So I called them and the dude on the other end of the phone said they have a server problem and he said it is unlikely the web site will be up by the begining of the race.
Now can you imagine that you pay to play thier game and they are not up and running????!!!!????
Dave you should pay attention to how they handle the aftermath of this one. In case (heaven forbid) you should have this problem some day in the future, you would have thier expierence to handle the problem better. I am positive this will cause a lot of grief for everyone playing thier game.
I got my fingers crossed and my rabbits foot. I am also looking for a 4 leaf clover. LOL
I cleared my history and cleared my cookies and that joint was down and no one could log on. This was at 945 am central time. The site is up and running now. It was messed up yesterday and was down then also. So for now everything is ok but give it another 20 minutes...LOL. I hope it doesn't crash again.
