Okie dokie folks...I've asked alot of questions about your Christmas. But I think I've saved the best for last. Everyone receives a gift for Christmas, whether it be good or one that's not so good.
What was the best Christmas present you ever received And if you wanna tell the worst one...go for it.
My best one was when I was around 6 or 7 years old. My mom's brother that lived in California passed away the week before Christmas and Momma flew out for the funeral. She was supposed to have been back early Christmas Eve day. That morning Momma called and said the flight had been delayed for some reason that I don't remember. I started crying and mopped around the house all day. My older brothers, (remember, there were 7 of them. Twister is my younger brother) teased me about being upset cause I thought I wasn't getting any presents. I KNEW I was, cause Momma started buying Christmas presents in June and I always peeked and knew what I was getting. What I was upset about was not having Momma home for Christmas, that was what I REALLY wanted. Can you imagine how happy I was Christmas morning when Momma walked through the door .
Hope this wasn't too corny for yall...but it was the BEST present I've ever received other than God's gift of His Son.
My worst present...don't remember one

I don't think your story was corny
However I believe some people would believe the story of my best present is corny...so I won't post it...I'll e-mail it to ya if ya really want to hear it

I have a real horrible Christmas story which is partly why this is not my favorite time of the year.

SIS.. pretty cool reading... thanks for sharing....
I been mulling it over and I really can't pick a best one.. my folks tended to go up and down in the finical deprtment and i got everthing from home made to the best on the store shelves...and enjoyed them all
I guess if I gotta put something I will have to go with the cheesy side of it also..
It would have to be seeing my daughters opening there gifts after they were old enough to anticipate and know what Christmas was. them happy faces will never leave me..

I'll go ahead and add my next favorite...it's the toys Hoot & I get that we have to wait til everyone leaves.
