I'm curious why so many peeps are upset about Toyota entering NASCAR, yet nobody seems to mind that Dodge is now a foreign owned company by Daimler in Berlin, Germany. Their next Annual Meeting is planned to be held on April 5th, 2007 in Berlin, Germany. It's obvious that NASCAR (the France Family) is looking to see where they can line their pockets with the most money. And they have soaked the American companies for all they are worth, so its only natural to cross the borders for more greenbacks. I stand here with most, in that I'm not looking forward to 2007 when rice burners are circling our beloved speedways. It just seems to me the only true American owned manufactures in NASCAR are Ford and Chevy.

Three teams to field Toyota Camry in 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series

CONCORD, N.C. (Jan. 24, 2006) - One veteran race team with close to 20 years of stock car experience, another with an owner who has been driving race cars for more than 20 years, and a third totally new team will all be running the Toyota Camry in the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series..........

That's a nice looking car they have pictured.

Please;; don't get me started..I say bring them on;;Take their money;;Add more teams;; None of the other manufacters are U.S. total...A friend of mine had to repair a part on his Harley several months ago;; When he removed the bad part it had "MADE IN MEXICO" on it ;;; We thought Harley Davidson was all American...(I guess just more AMERICAN than most corporations..)

Or maybe be as AMERICAN as "DODGE"....

as a life long Ford fan i have to say......i ain't happy about it......Ford is down to 2 teams......last weeks race there were 9 Fords......14 Dodge......and 20 Chevy's starting the race......out of the 9 Fords......5 were Rousch and 2 were Yates or 7 of 9 Rousch/Yates......im not sure NASCAR can or will support 4 manufactures......somebody is going to get pushed out......seems like Ford to me......either way Toyota and Dodge are kicking Ford and Chevy's tail in the $$$$$$$$ department......and $$$$$$ usually spells......well you get the picture......

but i ain't upset about it......bring the rice burners on......whether they win or lose......i will hate em just the same......

just because......
