Next to the 76ers the Lakers are my favorite team. I knew there was know way the Wolves could hang with them through all. You do need some spelling lessons though!!!!!

who needs spelling lessons? I'd don't "no" who you could be talking about...do you "no"? A simple yes or "know" would work.

A trivia question for Lakers fans.

Who rearranged Rudy Tomjohnovichs face?

Wasn't that a long time ago , as in the 70"s?
The guy played for Boston...Kermit something?
I have'nt been a fan that long but I do remember a guy that beat the Bejesus out of a guy, that was a Laker dude.
I never saw the tape, but I heard he beat the hell out of Rudy.
I think his last name is Washington, but can't be sure.
The way it was told was that Kermit was a hell of a nice guy, but will always be known for 10 to 20 seconds of losing his cool.
Guess that all it takes.

Kermit Washington was a Laker and if I remember correctly he only threw one punch. A fight had broken out between two players and Rudy was running towards the fight. As he got close Kermit turned and threw a hard punch that hit him square in the face. What made this such a horrible injury was the old E=MC2 thing. You square Rudy's running speed and multiply by his weight and then square the speed of Kermits fist and multiply by his fists weight and you end up with a force of impact which, I would guess since I don't have actual figures, who be equivelant to smashing your face into the dashboard of your car after it hits a solid wall at 50 mph.

Back during that time I used to get the home Laker games on cable. They did a same day tape delay so the game usually came on about 10 or 11pm. I can remember many a late night watching the games when Kareem was still young. During that time I went to a couple of Sonics v. Lakers games at Seattle when Tommy Burleson was the Sonics center. Every time Tommy started to dripple the ball the crowd held their breath because about half the time he'd hit his foot and lose the ball. I wooped on Tommy in a game of ping pong once at a tavern in Auburn. I had my special padel with two different rubbers, one side with a soft tacky rubber for putting super spin on the ball and the other side with a hard rubber for speed. He didn't stand a chance and didn't score a single point. After that he moved to the pool table and turned out to be a really good pool player.
