Then why not earn it instead of whine about something that was totally not my doing? I know you weren't the whinner .I will ask you the same thing I have asked speedbump, The team was in there for the first 2 races, why in the hell would I pull it out before the third? | Remmey..............Its official because thats the way its gonna go down in the records books unless it changes again!! I think you're pissed at me because I was the one to blow the whistle on this whole "Indygate" fiasco!!. Tell me........what would you do if you got on the web site after the race and figured the scores and according to the teams "listed" in the pitboxes your team had won. Then have two posts pop up at the same time the next evening with a team listed that wasn't there the day before to give the win to the BFG and So-cal with "no explaination" and one of the players being the owner of the team in question. It looks like this has conspiracy written all over it. If you knew the team wasn't in the box and wanted to get an O.K. to use it you should have said something in the post and not try to slip it in the backdoor. Your post that you put up before you found out how much I really knew (you probably thought I assumed the team just wasn't accepted) stated that the team in question had been in the box before the race but not accepted. It wasn't there when I looked after the race, Boo said she looked before the race and T.B. also indicated that the team wasn't there. I stated that I didn't care if the team was used or not and I still don't. I think the real issue is the fact that we are working on a honor system here concerning the pitboxes. Truth is that if I hadn't checked the scores after the race we would have been cheated out of a win according to the rules or guidelines. I didn't ask you to change the pitbox scores after you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar, you did that on your own. If you want to claim the victory thats fine with me! Just don't keep telling me I'm whining, when all I did was mention there was a problem, and give everyone plenty of time to get it staightened out, before I put my 2 cents worth in again!! The only problem I have with "Indygate" is the way it was handled not wheather the team was used or not. I don't see how I could have done anything else but ask that everyone fess up to the fact that the team wasn't in the pitbox. It looked to me like we were going to get the shaft. I'm just looking for a level playing field. |

Remmey, I appologize! I miss read the meaning of your post I guess. Thats the problem with "text"...it has no feeling.
I said earlier "If your want to hand us one, we''ll take it". By this I meant...I dont remember anyone saying to not count your PCR team in the SoCal pitbox top 8 average....but yet you took it out. All I seen was 1 post saying "Better check the SoCal scores as well" Now if thats all it takes to get a team removed from the top 8 average....looks a little fishy to me. Not saying you did anything wrong, because I dont know if ya did or didnt. But you where pretty quick to remove it from the SoCal average. By doing that you handed us a win. Thats all I meant
I also said "kick your @zzes the proper way". I meant win with out the INDYGATE (as Speedbump calls it)
This is what I know for a fact....I was not home during the race Sunday...got home very late Sunday night, Monday morning....checked my team scores (seen that I sucked bad).....checked all regional pitboxes. I noticed that no pitbox had many scores over 1000 so I count the 1000+ scores in each pitbox to get an idea on who might win. Midwest had 5 teams 1000+ and so did Socal. But I didnt pay close attention to the team names, or if any where not accepted yet. Later when I did the score posting, I checked again....then Socal had 6. I just figured I missed one earlier, no big deal. Then even later in the day I started reading some posts, seen Speedbumps posts...I couldnt figure out what was going on. Well not knowing which team added the 6th score I just kept quiet. Seemed SpeedBump knew more than i did and its not healthy to argue with the King!! I couldnt argue one way or the other anyway, so I didnt. You pulled the team from the average, no body made you. So in my opinion, you handed us the win.
As far as the BFG pitbox, I couldn't tell ya one way or the other...never looked at it. Which is why I kept quiet on the post...well until I opened my big fat mouth and stirred up another hornets nest. (didnt mean to)
You know, Crazy Gene had a good idea trying to set up rules for this pitbox battle. But nobody took them serious. Maybe we should have. Not that it would have stopped this gliche from happening.
Now in your defense Remmey, let me tell you this. In the week prior to the Brickyard race, right up to Sunday morning...I accepted the same 2 teams 3 times during the week. Seemed every time i checked the pitbox during that week, those teams always needed to be accepted. I accepted them the last time Sunday morning about 10am or so. I have no idea what was going on there, dont know the owners of the teams so I cant ask them wtf they where doing. Or if it was even their doing something that made that happen....gliche maybe?
I hope that TB hears back from Dave, telling us that your PCR team was in, should be in, and should be counted in the BFG (not sure about SoCal.)
