Well it's Red River Rivalry weekend. OU #2 or 1? vs Texas #5 college football.

We are having our second annual pick the correct score winner. Prize being, a battery/electric Tame Tornado (with AC adapter) and a manual version Tame Tornado. (shipping paid)

Pick the correct score, without going over on either team, and win the first (and only) prize. For tiebreaking purposes, pick the total yardage of both teams combined.

E-mail me your picks before 10 AM on Saturday morning. Just before game time I will post all picks.

(we are here for your entertainment, and any abusiveness will be deferred to our litigation(or drinking) party for review. Especially from anyone south of OU's Red River.)

Little Johnny was in his 4th grade class when the teacher asked the
children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up- fireman, policeman, salesman, etc...

Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked
him about his father. "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret
and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer's really good, he'll go out to the alley with some guy for
money."

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the
other children to work on some coloring, and took Little Johnny aside
to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"

"No," said Johnny, "He's an assistant football coach for the University
of Texas Longhorns. I was just too embarrassed to say that."

GO SOONERS!!

It's an early game Saturday. At 11:00 CST on ABC.
Need to get those predictions in TODAY!!

Slip, got yours.

When you send in your picks, DON'T FORGET YOUR GUESSED TOTAL COMBINED YARDAGE.

OU SOONERS

Lately, the excitement for the Longhorns (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) hasn't lasted the length of the game -- or much past halftime.

Oklahoma (4-0, 1-0) has won four straight games in the series, including 65-13 last year. The current streak began with the Sooners' 63-14 romp in 2000 en route to a national championship.

``The last four years are over. They're in the past,'' Longhorns senior safety Phillip Geiggar said. ``We have to approach this game just like we have any other game.''

Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jason White became Oklahoma's career touchdown passing leader (55) with three last week in a win over Texas Tech. Freshman Adrian Peterson is the first Sooner with four straight 100-yard rushing games to start his career, and is fourth in the Big 12 with 137 yards per game.

Saturday will be the 99th game in the series between border-state rivals. Texas leads 55-38-5. The game has been played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas -- where the stands are split evenly between fans from both teams -- since 1929.
