Being from Philly... I've been all over the country...literally. I've had Philly Steaks...so they call it...all over the place. You can not get a steak sandwich ANYWHERE like you can in Philly... Half the places in Philly can't make a steak sandwich the proper way. If you ain't from Philly...Don't even try it.
And that comes from a 39 year Philly Steak eatin' person...
And I, and no Philly Grown person, will pay 100 dollars for a steak sandwich... and you don't have Champagne with a freakin steak sandwich...you have a beer.
Some people just don't know any better.
Just for the record...I don't eat cheese and don't want it on my steak sandwich... Fried Onions and Fried Hot Peppers...YES...NO CHEESE...Thank you very much.
Yeah and the guys opened 13 restaurants, succesful I'd say, I'm sure it is a marketing ploy...guess what he made CNN, nothing like free national advertising, he will sellvery few. He will make a ton of money.
