Now everyone likes food and cooking for Christmas dinner will soon begin. There is generally at least one food that one looks forward to for dinner. But one that I especially like to have is Chocolate pie. It always reminds me of when I was a little girl, my aunt Viola use to always make one just for me. Try as I might though, mine is never as good as hers was.
What's yours

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Friends are like angels who lift us to our feet,

aaahhhh christmas food

mom and dad always out do themselves... mrs roundman the roundettes tuna and myself always have shrimp and crablegs mmmmm... roundman and mrs roundman jr dont care for seafood so they usually opt for steak or hamburgers this year i think and pizza rolls for the grandrounds... but they always fix whatever anyone wants.. for example this year is roundette2's boyfriends (roundup)first christmas with us and he is having crawfish... so christmas dinner at roundhouse central is always wonderful......... thanks round parents

Ah yes, Christmas dinner......mmmmmmmmmmmmm. We used to do the normal...ya know, repeat of Thanksgiving.....turkey, ham, and all the fixings. Well a few years ago the menue changed! But for once change was a good thing. Now we cook up a couple of prime ribs. Much better than turkey & ham. The left overs are even better, when there are some. Prime Rib...all ya can eat!! It just doesnt get much better than that Although Roundman_jr's feast sounds very good too!

All this talk about good food is making me hungry

I cooked a turkey for Thanksgiving and managed to cut off part of my finger and overcook it. I didn't eat much of it since I bled all over it. I think I'm going back to the turkey tv dinner for Christmas. The dressing in those things is pretty darn good and you don't need sharp knives to eat them..

well on Christmas Eve we have tradional Swedish dinner at least as long as my mother is still alive. Ready for this..... Ham, brownbeans, Limpa bread (a very sweet rye bread and dark brown) Herring, in wine sauce and creamed Macaronis and Cheese assorted bread and rolls , pickles and olives and pickled pigs feet. Now i haven't seen that on any of your lists, takes a few weeks in the brine to make it good. My mom is 89 and still makes it and wants to teach me, but I think the buck is going to stop with her, and yes I do eat them they are good, I just don't want to make them. Then Christmas Day is usually tradtiontal, same as thanksgiving, only we rotate every other year, one year turkey, then oneyer Beef Burganday then back to turkey and then we switch off again maybe primerib, and so on so on.
New Years Day we have forgotten cooking a dinner and do all appitizers and booze hot and cold and play poker from 2pm till 10pm with family. there's my 2 cents HO HO HO martha

BEAVERS ARE HUNGRY!!!!

AS LONG AS IT TAKES
