All of Hoot's family start showing up around noon, we eat a big dinner; ham, turkey, dressing and all the fixin's, around 1:00. Usually around 2:00-2:30, we do our dirty Santa gift exchange. That's always alot of fun. Everyone draws numbers, then when it's your turn, you can take away a gift from someone else (as long as it hasn't exchanged hands 2 times already) or open a new one. You never know til the very end of the game usually what you're gonna end up with. Then we play games like australian rummy, Phase 10, or WaHoo while going back for desserts all afternoon.
Everyone has a good time and I'm really looking forward to it this year.
What's your Christmas day usually like

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

And tha's wha'ch no's!
========================
We have a large dinner, turkey, ham, dressing, peas, corn on the cob,turnips, cornbread, pineapple cake and banana pudding. Exchange gifts and then I read the tales of Bre' Rabbit to grand children. If you haven't heard of Bre' Rabbit and the Tar Baby then you just might not have you ears tuned to listening and you haven't known a real Zip'dy do da Day. Remember the laughing place, Ol' Bre' Fox and Bre' Bear they didn't it was so funny.

Start it out on Christmas Eve @ Cheryl's Mother's House Every Year
Big Dinner, Games for the kids, Games for the Adults,Gift Exchange for the Adults, All the Children get to open gifts from the Aunts & Uncles & Of course Cheryl's Mom gets gifts for Everyone...her 5 Grandchildren, her 4 Children & her 4 children's mates...don't know how she does it...she really spends a lot on each & every one of us

Then it's back home on Christmas Day
Can't explain what a Joy it is watching the kids open their gifts from Santa 1st thing in the morning
Later my Family comes over, do a gift exchange with them,Have another big dinner,More Fun & Games, Even NFL on TV this year

Finally, we get together on a date soon after Christmas that Cheryl's Brother & 2 Sister's can make it with Cheryl's Father & do it all again with him, not the gift exchange again but, we all get him a gift & he gets Everyone of us a gift. The best part about going to his house is that he Brew's his own beer some Mighty Tasty stuff I might add, He makes it all...Lagers, Ales, Stouts
He usually has them all on hand for sampling too
1 Christmas he bought me everyting I need to brew my own beers...it really is a cool hobby...I have only made 2 batches so far tho...Ale both times, that is really the easiest to make without screwing it up. Turned out pretty good both times....I really need to find the time to brew another batch soon.

Nothin' is as EXCITING as
