We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for recruiting for us. Your efforts are more productive than anything we get from other marketing areas. So thanks to all of you!
Here is a comparison of the numbers from last season to 2005. The day after the Bud Shootout in 2004, we were at 448 teams. We are at 395 at the same point in time this season.
The 395 is better than it looks due to the fact that in 2004 the Bud Shootout was a free promo for all main contest teams. This year the special was for the Busch and Main Contest together.
With no incentive to sign up for the contest before the Bud unless you wanted to play the Busch too, we should catch up. Sunday was a good example. In 2004 we picked up 8 teams the day after the shootout. This year we picked up 14.
In 2004 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we had 47 new teams total. Hopefully we will surpass that number this season. After race 1 in 2004, we had 760 teams. We should surpass that number in 2005.
We had hoped to be at 440 the day of the Bud Shootout for 2005. We felt that we could move from there to 1000 with the mailing campaign that we focused on in 2005. We had 381 Main Contest teams the day of the Bud in 2005. That was 59 short of our goal. But, that does not mean the goal is not obtainable.
Here is our plan for the remainder of the sign up period. (sign up is open through race 5) If you know of new players who are interested in playing, we will issue a free play in the All-Star "One Race Event" for each referral who signs up. If the referral has never played our contest, we will issue the player a free Combined Season Scoring and All-Star play. If payment for the full season is a problem, have them call us and we will split the payments into a Spring and a Fall payment.
We are looking forward to the season getting started this weekend. I look forward to chatting with you in the chat room on Sunday's.
Thank You for supporting and promoting Fantasy Thunder!
P.S. Be sure and contact us if you have any kind of a free play coming and we have not activated it.
Our Mission at Fantasy World Sports... 1)We are here to serve you. 2)We will always treat you fairly. 3)We promise to maintain the integrity of the contest. May the best team win! Thank you for playing our contest! |
