We got the fix to the chatroom from the software company today, and it is up and running. Post in this thread if you have any problems with it.

When I log into chat. .. I keep getting this message:
Disconnected. Close VolanoChat and restart...
Grrrrrr......
Never did this before on my Puter...

Those of you who can't get in, try deleting your temporary internet files by going to Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files.
It is possible that your computer is using an old version of the chat software that is trying to connect to the wrong port. We have people in the chat room, and are able to get in ourselves, so that is the first place I would look.
Another possibility is that you have two browsers open, and one is logged in already, but you didn't notice it.
Also, be sure that any firewall software you have isn't blocking port 9000. |
