Concerning the not so Dynamic Duo.......Is it just me, or is it just me but don't it seem like that 4 time champ Jeff Gordon and his loyal sidekick Jimmie Johnson take turns knocking someone out the way at least once a week. I don't know if I can remember a week this year that one of them ain't done run over somebody. If this was one of the bad boys of racing the media would have them made out to be one step short of commiting murder. Looks to me like the squeaky clean image is starting to need some polishing. Can't wait till next week to see who gets the chrome horn!! BEEP....BEEP COMING THROUGH!!! |

I've been looking all week for the replay that shows Gordon tugging on the wheel to purposely get into Busch, but I haven't seen it yet. I also find it odd that he would pass so many cars, some of them several times coming from 3 laps down, and then suddenly find it necessary to purposely wreck Busch to get around him.
Could it be possible that Busch turned down into Gordon to try to block him from following Martin underneath him

Rem, don't take the ninny thing personally.... it certainly wasn't meant that way. It just really bugs that crap outta me when certain drivers can never do any wrong. Gordon didn't bounce off the curb into Busch, he avoiding hitting the curb by turning into Busch. Another way he could have avoided it..... BY BACKING OFF AND NOT FORCING HIS WAY UNDER BUSCH.
He knew the curb was there and if Busch did the same thing to him I bet he would've put up a much bigger stink than Kurt did.
All I'm saying it call it what it is.

I'm thinking a couple of you all must be watching a tape of someother race. I don't see any curb that Jeff hit. Still think he just ended up driving into the side of Kurt. Don't take this to personal, but to me he dumped him.
A couple more posts on this thread and we'll have the whole cup field drug into this deal. Looks like we ended up with a some that agreed with my original post and a few agin it and a couple wishy washy!!

At the beginning of the Busch race Chris Meyers said Hmiel and Jarrett had a "near brawl" at the last race. I didn't see or hear about a near brawl. Did something happen I didn't hear about?

Tony is not on my favorite list right now since he gave me 43rd place on both my Busch teams but I got a laugh out his interview after the wreck. There he is dumping on Barrett for running into the back of him but Barrett wouldn't have run into the back of him if Stewart hadn't first run into the back of the 21.

Now that I have stated another opinion of my own, I can only sit and wait for the next name your gonna call me. Make it a good one, but leave out the naive part because anyone not having the ability to see the possibilities of those two incidents not being accidental is at the forefront of being totally naive. ps...I'm a Martin fan...not a Hendrick fan.

Take your car and run it up against a curb while going around a corner....how does it react? Naturally it bounces off the curb in the other direction, naturally the steering wheel is going to jerk in the opposite direction. Widen your vision and look at the whole picture.

The drivers who have their P.R. people standing off camera with cue cards tell em' what to say when they get out of the car NEVER take the blame for anything that happens. SOS.....I hate that I took out your drivers name here but I felt I had the position, he was already loose, I don't race that way etc etc.

Well, I can see all sides to this conversation, now having said that.........Come on there Group, what is NASCAR without contriversay........they go hand in hand, if the TV Ratings are not good they, Media, and other TV related nascar shows start to talk about things that will get people's Interest in NASCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Point in case, a lot of times one particular Driver is Taking cars out, but if he is not in the Media's Eyes and the Viewers Interests, then not much is said about him, but if it is a HIGH Profile Driver, well then, even if another Driver just touches the driver in Question, well then all the Camera's are on that driver and viewers just love it. Do you think if Shane took out Tina Gordon, instead of Jarrett would it of goten as much Media Hipe...........NO WAY!!!!
That is how I see it, but then again I might Need Stronger Eye Glasses to see things Clearer!!!!!!!!

Hmiel wasn't the only one booting cars out of the way in those final laps in the Busch race. According to the TV announcers Edwards was booting a lot of cars out of the way also but he didn't put anyone in the wall.
