Hello everyone,
I have completed some modifications to the Pit Box section. Now, when you visit the Pit Box section, you will see a list of all the Pit Boxes. Those you own show up first, those you are a member of show up second, and all the others appear afterwards.
You can now request to join a Pit Box, instead of needing to be invited. It should be more intuative now-- a potential member selects his team from a drop down list, clicks "Join Pit Box", and then the owner of the Pit Box either clicks "Accept" or "Remove".
You are now able to delete Pit Boxes that you own, as well. The "Delete This Pit Box" link shows up below the list of members.
Please post here if you have any questions, more changes are coming in the future. I also ask that people delete any bogus pitboxes that they own.

| Thanks Rob. Pit boxes were the only thing I hadn't figured out here but checked them out and now understand completly. Just have to find boxes that I'll be welcomed at. Again thanks Rob. |

For some reason the Pit Boxes link was not showing up for the Nextel All-Star contest. This has been fixed.
Do note that we keep Pit Boxes separate for each contest, just as we do with teams. So, you will have to create your pitboxes in each One-Race Challenge as they come up. There are technical reasons for this, involving teams being in a pit box that exists in multiple contests, but not all the teams being in both contests. |
