PLEASE READ UPDATED RULES AND A NEW PRIZE catagory, for a game within the POF game!! And 2cd half POF game Info!!!!
Ok Guys and Gals, this is the PLAIN OLD FUN challenge. Here is what is involved in this challenge PICK THE TAIL END OF THE FIELD WInners. Or Losers in the over all aspect of the race. RULES ARE SIMPLE.. Driver has to be IN the Race, NO Salary Cap, Just pick the worse 8 finishers, for what ever reason you think, Poor Preformance, Accidents, Cooked Motors, Busted Tranny, Or just plain had Enough, ETC ETC... Just Post your teams here and let the FUN begin. AND oh ya NO TRADES once teams are made up. You will have until the drop of the GREEN Flag On SUNDAY, or Just slightly before, anyone who puts a submission in after the Drop of the Green is not permitted in this challenge..... FAIR IS FAIR after all. I will post a MESSAGE at the end of this tread around Green flag TIME to signal the end of submissions.... The Prize BRAGGING rights Plus Prizes.... AND NOW THERE ARE SOME GREAT PRIZES AS WELL....... Scores will be made up as per NASCAR Scoring...With one EXCEPTION, THAT BEING IF A CAR IS MARKED AS A POST ENTRY,(PE) it will be given the POINTS of it's FINISHING POSTION.. To maintain game integrity. or a score of LESS than 356 would be possible... We all trive to pick the winning teams now lets try to pick the worse teams!!!! Anyone can Play as well this CHALLENGE is FREE to boot ....
Now here at THUNDER this message board has AN EDIT option, so any team that is EDITED after the DROP OF THE GREEN, or after my Closing the competition tread, is an AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION, sorry but no other way of doing this, and CONSIDERING there are NO TRADES there is NO REASON TO EDIT. if it is just a TYPO hey we all do it just leave it as is... PLEASE...it does take some time to do this, and I do enjoy doing it but if it gets out of hand well am sure all of can figure that one out...And all you X brand racing you can play here as well and have 2 teams... be them the same or different is up to You.....
AS A NOTE TO ALL PLEASE, NOW CAR NUMBER AND DRIVER'S NAME, ARE REQUIRED.. In case of Discrepances, I will have some thing to fall back on!!!
Also now need a score you think you will get, this is for new game within the POF and for last determining Tie breaker!!! THANKS EVERYONE....
OK here is an UPDATE to Prizes!!!
I am posting this Prize First since It only applies to this week only!! DONATED by BRUSKI Racing. As Bruski stated in his Post is as follows:
I'm offering a one of a kind bruskiracing print to first place in the Plain Old Fun Challenge for this weeks race at Michigan. Name your favorite driver and I will make an 8x10, mounted, matted and framed to 11x14. I've been shooting film at MIS since 1993 so most drivers will be available if not a current shot one from my archives. I'm off now to the track armed with my camera, GOOD LUCK ALL!
Delivery may not be as quick as the Heavy Chevy prizes, as I will have to make this to order.
In case of a TIE, prize will go to FIRST ENTRY, and If BRUSKI happens to win this week the prize will go to second place.

Need to update this since Crazygene, pointed out an issue..Plus I do THANK you Gene for pointing this out to me... That being if a new player joins this challenge, or if only the first teams that played are only eligable. So now all teams who are running for TOP prize will be averaged over an 8 week period, so teams that Play every week will be able to have their worse 3 scores for the challenge dropped. it is about the same ratio as Main Challenge, Hope this sounds fair to all.
Plus FOUR WIDE RACING has donated a ONE RACE CHALLENGE to the LOWEST ONE RACE SCORE OVER THE REST OF THIS FIRST HALF CHALLENGE.......... THANK YOU FOUR WIDE RACING!!!!!In case of a TIE, then for the teams that are tied, will go to second lowest score... if still tied will go to third, four and so on... till a WINNER is Crowned...
Also CRAZYGENE has donated a ONE RACE CHALLENGE to the HIGHEST ONE RACE SCORE OVER THE REST OF THIS FIRST HALF CHALLENGE........ or as I would like to call it the WORST GUESSED AWARD... LOL..since this is a one race Total... It will be run the same as the four wide prize....THANK YOU CRAZYGENE!!!!Also in case of a TIE will do same as in The Four Wide Prize Distribution...
AND now we have a NEW PRIZE of $50.00 to the "FIRST PERSON' to get a PERFECT score of 356, DONATED BY FRED AND BARNEY, I decided to call this prize THE "YABA DABA DO" prize!!! THANKS FRED AND BARNEY for your donation. THIS IS A HARD ONE TO WIN, but am sure it is not IMPOSSIBLE!!!! To clearify this to all basically you need to get the right 8 driver to fall out of race to place them in finishing possitions 36 to 43 and hopefully they did not get BONUS points since I DO USE NASCAR SCORING to do POF TEAM totals, and have done so from begining of this challenge!!!!!!!!!AS a note in case of a TIE, Prize will go to FIRST team entry!!!! now that would be MISSION IMPOSSIBLE but hey never know.....
Here is another PRIZE DONATION, this one is from SPEED BUMP, The prize is for the MIDDLE OF THE PACK, AVERAGE, end of First part of Challenge. THANK YOU SPEED BUMP. This prize consists of an AUTOGRAPHED, PICTURE OR CARD. depending on AVALIBILITY by donor. This will be the WINNERS CHOICE again depending on AVALIBILITY, from the Pool of Current Drivers, as well as a few Retired Drivers as well... NOTE NO DALE EARNHARDT SN. as well Speed Bump has agreed in case of a TIE, BOTH teams will WIN!!! Middle of the PACK will be dependent on NUMBER OF TEAMS who have 8 WEEK average!!!
AND now for the Correct Scoring Game and Prize, your guessed score MUST match, to your POF team total score for Prize, or the closest to their score for Tie Breakers!!! this score will also be used for a FINAL TIE BREAKER, AFTER all other tie breakers are Exhusted, as in two weeks for the 3rd place Score!!! so that there would be an actual 3rd place FINISHER. I hope all you regular POF players approve of this, I had no other choice, to be as fair as possible to all of you!!!
I WILL DONATE A PRIZE OF A COMMERATIVE COIN BOARD (Brand new still in original wrapping, suitble for framing, if one wishes) with stats and VERY LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED, of a 1895-1995 VAVOLINE 100 Years of RACING and their Driver at the time, MARK MARTIN made by TRAX to the FIRST TEAM, (or the FIRST TEAM as per entry time in case of a tie here as well), that guesses their right score!! teams must match guess with actual score!!! and this will run for the rest of the First half of callenge. until PRIZE is WON if no winner in the FIRST half prize will go into SECOND half of challenge with a few Bonus prizes in second half!! I am doing this since it is late in the challenge!!! Hope this is fair again!!!!

Gee a lot of teams are forgeting to enter a score. if the teams that do not have a SCORE entered read this PLEASE post your score guess..........Thanks..
Thank You Roundman JR. for pointing that out as well to those who do not have a score entered... also Jr. Blaney is in the #30 Car this week, I have changed it to that.........

LOL BOB nice typo on the car numbers of Shepherd and Bodine..... now that is REAL bad when they need TWO drivers to drive one car......so who is the driver and who is the navigator BOB...........LOL sorry BOB could not resist!!!! and I made the change to the #98 car of G.. Bodine for you!!!!
