The results are now official for the Daytona 500. Race 2 results are now posted for members to see. The weekly winning teams can be viewed by clicking on the Weekly Winner's link found in the Prizes and Past Winner's Section. They can be viewed by the general public.

First Half Driver Tiers Posted

2002 First Half Driver Tiers are now posted. The Driver Tiers are designed to handicap all drivers based on average finishing position. The better the driver, the higher the tier.
The tiers will not change until the Second Half of the 2002 Season. The First value change will occur after Race 3. The values will change each race thereafter.

Weekly Winners Posted

From now on, the Weekly Winners page in the Prizes & Past Winners section will contain a detailed listing of the winners for each race in the season.
The winner of each Division is displayed, as well as their Driver picks and bank totals.

The unofficial race results for the Daytona 500 have been posted in the Members section.

2002 Season is Here!

The field is set for the 44th running of the Daytona 500 this Sunday. The race is scheduled to start at 12:30 PM EST. TV coverage is on NBC.
The starting positions were set with the running of today's Twin 125's. Jeff Gordon won the 1st race. Michael Waltrip won the 2nd crash filled race.
Shawna Robinson became only the 3rd women to make the 500 mile event. Her #49 Dodge was the 36th and final position based on qualifying speed.
6 of the 7 provisionals were taken by Fords. Jimmy Spenser in his new ride in the 41 Dodge failed to make the field. 10 drivers did not qualify.

Twin 125 Field Set

The Twin 125's will run on Thursday. The final positions were set after second round qualifying was held on Monday.
Kyle Petty was the fastest of the four second round qualifier's with a speed of 183.061 MPH. The speed was good enough for 27th overall fastest qualifying lap.
With the conclusion of the second round of qualifying 52 cars have earned starting spots in the 125's. Norm Benning will be added to the second Twin 125 if he can achieve the minimum speed of 172 MPH during practice.

First Round Qualifying

First round qualifying is over. Rookie Jimmie Johnson led the 53 car field with a speed of 185.831 MPH. Jimmie is only the third rookie to win the pole position for the 500.
Kevin Harvick was 2nd with a speed of 185.770. Chevy took the top 3 positions.
Robert Pressley was 4th and was the fastest Dodge with a speed of 185.272 MPH. Bobby Labonte was the fastest Pontiac in 12th position with a speed of 183.774 MPH. Dale Jarrett was the fastest Ford. His speed of 183.710 was good for 13th position.
Chevy had 7 cars in the top 10. Dodge had the other 3.

The Javascript version of the trading site is now online. To access it, log in to the Members section, and click the Make Trades link.
As your teams are activated, you will receive an email notification stating that you can begin playing.

The demo for Fantasy Thunder is now live. To see how Fantasy Thunder works, click the Play Demo button in the upper left of the site, below the checkered flag. You can also reach the demo by clicking the Game Demo link in the Play section.
