Jayski and Fantasy Thunder are now Worldwide. The most famous of these is our current Champion, Scott Raibikis who joined the contest while stationed in Baghdad. Scott was stationed at the Baghdad Airport. He is Military Police. He is with the 136th MP, stationed out of Panora Iowa.
Scott found our site while checking out Jayski's Silly Season Site. The 1st Half of 2004 was his first time playing the contest.
Scott returned to the states in mid April after a 12 month tour in Iraq. He said he would return to Iraq in a minute, if his wife would let him.
Scott is one of the many fine men and women who serve our nation. They are a special breed. We thank all of them.
We are happy to award the 1st Grand Prize of $8000 to Scott. 2nd place went to Larry Mello. Larry won $1750 for his runnerup finish.
Larry is a first year player from another contest. At one point at Chicago, Larry had closed to within 12.04 points of Scott. All hopes went up in smoke when Mark Martin's engine blew with 2 laps to go.
Sign up now to get in on all 18 races of the 2nd Half. You may be next first time player to make it to the top!

|
The 2nd Half of the 2004 seaon will start this Sunday at New Hampshire. The 18 race season will end at Homestead in late November.
Martin Truex Jr. qualified the 8 car today. Earnhardt Jr. is expected to start. Should Dale miss the race, he will receive no points for the race. If Dale drives just 1 lap and then puts Truex in the car, the points will be awarded to Earnhardt.
We score our contest the same as Nascar. The rule states that whoever starts the race will receive the points.
If you have not signed up yet, there is plenty of time. Sign up will remain open until just before the green flag drops this Sunday. Please give yourself enough time to get your team submitted before the green flag drops!
Late sign up will remain open through Race 5. The four lowest scores are dropped, so late entries will use the missed races as drop scores.

At the midway point in the race, Scott had only a 12.04 point lead over Larry. Thomas Browne of Crockett CA had closed to 133 points of the lead at that point in time.
The Championship was secured with two laps to go, when Mark Martin lost his engine. Larry and Tom both had Mark, and it was over as far as the run for the Championship was concerned.
In fact, Steve Charles of Murrieta CA was able to edge out Tom for 3rd due to the engine failure of Martin. Tom was 4th, 7.98 points behind Steve.
Rounding out the top 5 was Herb Olson of Grand Rapids MI. Herb was 12.04 points behind Tom.
The 6th position went to Steve Giebel of Naperville, IL. 7th and 8th went to Dennis Schreuer of Lemon grove CA.
Teams from California took five of the top eight spots. Amazing!
